BTG + Anaconda: "The Power of No: Pushing Back and Advocating for Yourself"

  • Anaconda 206 East 9th Street, Floor 18 Austin, TX, 78701 United States (map)

Back by popular demand! The Power of No: Pushing Back and Advocating for Yourself Panel has been developed based on a blend of our most popular topics from previous events, specifically regarding the unique experiences women face in negotiations and hard conversations.

Our panelists will provide insight on their failures and successes in negotiation, techniques for getting a “yes” and diplomatically saying “no”. They will also discuss best practices for handling unsolicited commentary, dealing with pushback, and we’ll get their actionable advice on leveraging tough situations to your best advantage.

As usual, the program begins at 6:00pm, but come early to find a good parking spot and enjoy food and beverages courtesy of Anaconda!

Our host for the evening, Anaconda, has generously agreed to provide complimentary snacks, beverages, AND they will provide parking validation to all event attendees in their building's downtown garage! So, come early to find a parking spot and enjoy the refreshments before we get started with the evening's program.
